In Yo’ Face

In Yo’ FACE, Mong Kok.  If you’re an avid reader of all 36 of my posts, you’ll recall that I had been lost for hours looking for a dang art supply store.  I found it.  The real art supply store, along with a yarn store and a craft store.  Feels like a hundred bucks.

Now, incase you’re interested in going, get on the red line, to Mong Kok Station, and exit B1, B2, B3 or at the Prince Edward Station exit B.  Head towards Bute and Sai Yee, there should be a street map on a pole when you exit.

Nice Art supply store:
Kwong Yick Art & Design Materials Ltd
G/F, 169 Sai Yee St, Mong Kok
Tel:2393 2277

Crafty Craft store:
Craft Supply store
G/F, 173 Sai Yee St, Mong Kok
Tel: 2392 0969

Yarn Store:
Filo Kilo
G/F, 167 Sai Yee St, Mong Kok
Tel: 2392 9729

The most important step to getting there is either remembering these directions, or writing them down.  Both of which I did not do the first time.  Learn from my mistakes.  Now, go young grasshopper, and be artsy fartsy.

I’m off to knit something.

Lost in Mong Kok

I was on a mission.  To eat lunch with my fella, and to get art supplies.  My first time alone…ALONE in the city.  Up until then, it had just been, “I’ll meet you in the IFC.”, which is right next to where I get off the ferry from Lamma.

So, what happened?  Warning, this is a longer post.

CLick to find out!
