Do you remember the movie The Matrix?
Anyway, there is this scene where Neo is just getting unplugged and you see all these pods of people as far as you can see… you know the one?

Well, in my vivid imagination, when I take the ferry from Lamma over to Hong Kong Central at night, all the twinkling lights look a little like those pods from far away.  Creepy?  Or awesome. I’m going with awesome.

Moving on, last night I met my fella in Tsim Sha Tsui across the bay from Hong Kong Central.  You can take the Star Ferry (which we can talk about another day) for about $2 HK.  At 8pm the waterfront does a light show.

It is so crazy beautiful!  The lasers are my favorite.  I want to share just a few pictures, but I don’t have a tripod (to make the pictures clear), glasses (to focus my camera properly) and it was foggy.  It’s every night, so as I get better pictures, I’ll put them up, but here’s a few for now.
