Yeah, I’m modeling this for you wearing a tank top. Yes, it is still fairly warm. I know what is ahead so I’m starting to prepare myself mentally and physically for the winter.
I cannot shake how much I love this chunky, soft yarn. I whipped up this tube cowl for myself because I simply could not pass up the colors. Being that I tend to wear more black in the winter than I like to admit, I think this accessory will brighten any outfit and keep my neck warm.
Last night I was playing ping-pong in a garage with an open door and I thought my arms were going to fall off. It was only 52, so pretty warm. It’s going to be a long winter.
Let me know if you want one, same $35.00.
Hey Nicole–what other colors does this yarn come in? I would love to have you make one…but I’m wondering what my color choices are. Let me know. Rachel
I’m going to run to the store later this week to look, but as of last time I went in, this particular chunky yarn comes in purples, blues, grays, reds and this fantastic yellow/blue/green/purple blend.
It’s a Kettle Dyed Pure Merino Wool, but not scratchy in the slightest.
Ok Rachel, I went today and looked and I didn’t see any grays, but I did find some more blends:
-yellow-gold/green/blue
-blue/green/purple
-dark blue
plus the normal reds/purples/lighter blue
