Sad Panda Street Art

I like this.  I’m not sure if there is some sort of secret meaning behind it.  Found in Central, along the art walk– but not on the art walk side.  The opposite side has shops, and this guy was in the corner.  Definitely illegal street art. Clever.

Buddha’s birthday

I left our apartment for work at 7:45 this morning, and am typing this on the wobbly ferry back. I will get to our place at 9:30 at the earliest. Obviously there is no need to clarify AM or PM.
No complaints, my job and current co-workers are very enjoyable. Long hours are just something that this lady here has to get used to.* I just wanted to give you a preview of what is to come tomorrow.

*Yes, I just proclaimed myself to be a lady.

North Shore, Oahu

I love when a picture immediately brings you back to the exact moment that you took it.  Even without color, I can recall this day.  Who I was with, the shops we cruised through, the food we ate, the smell of the ocean.

Happy Aloha Friday!

Sweet Monaka.

Sweet Monaka,

Wiki tells me that you used to be a sweet mochi wafer dessert filled with sweet azuki beans.  I think I would like you that way, but I also like you the way you are.  A weird, waffle-on-the-outside, chocolate covered ice cream treat.  Yes, I like you the way you are.

Thanks for being so cool.*

Sincerely,

Nicole
